Our whole school community and invited guests joined together in a special assembly and then to plant a native rowan tree opposite our statue of Our Blessed Mother. This tree will create a special space for prayer, reflection and hope at the end of 2025, the Jubilee Year. Trees are mentioned on many occasions in the Bible and are associated with life,hope,strength and protection. We listened to the words of Saint Oscar Romero, hearing ‘...We plant the seeds that one day will grow...it is a beginning, a step along the way...’ We look forward to seeing our Tree Of Hope grow!
