Open Evening: Monday 12th December 2016. Principal’s talk at 7:00pm followed by a tour of the school. Everyone including parents/guardians of prospective Nursery and Primary 1 children are welcome to attend. Santa Walk All children from Nursery to P7 will be invited to take part in a Santa Walk this year (up to 3 laps of the walk path around St. Joseph’s football pitch). This links with our Healthy Living Programme but will also help with our on-going fundraising work as well as put the children…

(31st January – 6th February) This year’s theme is: Challenged to Proclaim God’s Mercy In Ballymacrickett, we strive to allow our faith to shine through in all that we do. Please talk with your child/children about their school activities during the week and about any activities that they may be asked to do at home.
P5s, P6s and P7s are currently rehearsing for “Oliver!” to be staged on 10th, 11th and 12th Feb. We are all looking forward with great excitement to this production and “Consider Ourselves” very talented to be performing in it! Tickets on sale in the school office!
Twelve Post Primary Schools visited Ballymacrickett to present information to our P7s and their parents about their respective schools. Congratulations to our Mathematicians who scored highly in a Primary Maths Challenge. Eight of our children achieved a very good score. Four with a particularly high mark, resulting in their names being forwarded to be considered for the UK finals.
UNICEF representative David Magimpsey will visit our school on Tuesday 17th November to assess our credentials as a UNICEF rights respecting school.
