  • Fitness Freddy

    On Wednesday 11th October, Ballymacrickett had the pleasure of welcoming ‘Fitness Freddy’ to our school. This was in conjunction with Crewe Utd. Every year group from P1 to P7 had the chance to work with Freddy. The boys and girls had a great time dancing and working out to music and we even heard the teachers got involved too. Thank you Freddy for coming out to us, the boys and girls really enjoyed it.

  • ICE Visit

    Ballymacrickett’s Primary Seven pupils had a visit from ICE (Institution of Civil Engineers). The pupils had the opportunity to build their very own suspension bridge measuring 15 metres long. They got to see how compression and tension works in real life and got a look into the life of a civil engineer. Many thanks to all the people who gave up their time to help out with ICE, the pupils loved it.

    Ballymacrickett’s Gaelic Footballers went to take part in the INTO seven a side tournament. With a tough group the boys performed brilliantly winning all of their matches.     Ballymacrickett Pupil Achieves High Score in National Mathematics Challenge

     

    Lara Crossey, a pupil at Ballymacrickett Primary School has been presented with a special award by The Mathematical Association in this year’s Primary Mathematics Challenge (PMC). This prestigious honour demonstrates her achievement as one of the best young mathematicians in the UK.
