Recently, we have continued to promote the Health and Well-Being of pupils within our school by introducing Healthy Kidz to our school. This adds another dimension to our after school activities especially for the younger pupils but also has a real drive for the health and physical activity for our Key Stage 2 pupils. The boys and girls have received their username and password for the Healthy Kidz app to promote exercise and healthy eating....
To help celebrate the anniversary of our local church, selected pupils from primary 7 completed an art activity with our parent/artist Patricia Lavery. Pupils went with iPads to take photos of the church for printing. The pupils then used these photos to mark in polystyrene and print. They then used wallpaper to overlay the prints. The result was fantastic and a massive thank you goes out to Patricia for all her thought and hard work.

The boys of Primary 6 & 7 took part in a large school blitz. With great weather it was a challenge to keep the stamina and energy up but the boys stepped up to the challenge. They boys reached the final and played a great match but lost out. They showed great discipline and team spirit. Well done boys.
The bird boxes that our children and Chris made are in full use. A family of blue tits have decided to nest here. A great sight for the school.

Family Fun Night is on Thursday 7th June from 6:30pm – 8:30pm. This is a great night for all the Ballymacrickett community and the children love it with many activities and games to do. We hope to see you all there.
