Ballymacrickett Primary Five Footballers recently received a portable defibrillator from children’s charity Defibs4 kids when they participated in the defib4kids football tournament.

The players were invited back to St Colman’s P.S Lisburn on Thursday 5th June to celebrate the first anniversary of the charity and the launch of their website which highlights those schools in Northern Ireland that have defibrillators and provides information about how other schools can get involved. Pupils Matthew Kane, Ruairi O’ Neill, Adam Falloon and Jack Hewitt mingled with local sports stars, dignitaries and even had their photograph taken with Dame Mary Peters.

Ballymacrickett would like to thank Art Kernan chairperson of the NI Defibrillator Mapping Group for his kind invitation, and thank him and the charity for all their work.
